SOLUTION

Advent developed the County Attorney Traffic Safety
(CATS) Program

 

  • In lieu of paying the citation, qualified drivers are given an opportunity to take the program for a dismissal of their ticket
     

  • Prosecutor administers & manages program
    - Entering potential individuals with proactive outreach
    - Application/approval process
    - Once approved
     

  • Registration
     

  • Pay for course + fees
     

  • Completion of program (or not)
     

  • Dismissal documents generated
     

  • By law, fees are distributed to various parties which generates funds for the state and the prosecutors’ office
